This intensive, hands-on course will guide you in creating your own professional artist website with a beautiful design, clean and compelling content, with shopping cart option. Squarespace is a powerful, easy-to-use web platform designed with artists and creative entrepreneurs in mind. This is a great workshop for people who already have a Squarespace site but want to learn more Squarespace skills, or need some extra guidance in getting started. (Beginner - Intermediate) Each two-hour Zoom session includes demonstrations, followed by troubleshooting as you work on your own Squarespace website. I will answer questions and offer additional demos as necessary during the session. Additionally, you will have access to a class resources web page where you will be able to find additional information, announcements, instructional videos and homework assignments.
Pre-requisites:
Laptop or desktop computer – students may use a tablet to view the course on Zoom, but students can't build a Squarespace website on a tablet.
Basic computer competency – Gayle strongly suggests students update their computer system and browser to the latest versions before the start of class.
