New Program!
As we embrace social distancing, and look for creative ways to share art and inspiration, CAA is launching a series of Virtual Studio visits. We will host these visits via ZOOM, allowing up to 100 guests to ‘visit’ local artist's studios, ask questions about the artists work and progress, and share in community, from a distance. For our this Virtual Studio Visit, we are pleased to visit the studio of Frantz Lexy!
Virtual Studio Visits are free, and open to all!
If you are not already registered in our database, you can close the account login pop-up on the registration page by clicking the X in the top right corner, and then proceed with your registration.

About Frantz's Artwork: Working primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, I explore identity, belonging, human’s relationship with nature and technology. I use personal story telling as a vehicle to engage contemporary concerns and invite others to find their own narratives through my images. My catalogue is an eclectic collection, ranging from traditional portraiture, abstraction and impressionism to paintings that employ sculptural elements. Lately, I have been exploring new ways to distort forms and figures, combining seemingly unrelated motifs, to create cohesion through chaos.
About Frantz: Frantz Lexy is a Haitian born painter who lives and works in Medford MA. He is mostly self taught, and has an experimental approach to his methods. His work is regularly shown in the Greater Boston area.
