Description
Explore color, composition, light, movement and space while making collages using materials made from scratch. Alexandra will mix up a buffet of 60 acrylic colors. We will paint papers, make magazine transfers and do some trace monotypes using oil paint. The morning will be devoted to making the materials and the afternoon will be for putting the collages together. This is a class for the complete beginner or the seasoned creative needing fresh ideas. Mainly, Alexandra's classes are uncompetitive and fun and for those looking for that special spark of making something with your hands. Everyone will leave with a few collaged cards and small format collages.
*The instructor will provide all materials. Attendees please bring $25 cash or check for material fee*
